Mae lles, hapusrwydd ac addysg y plant yn ganolog i bob penderfyniad a wneir yn Ysgol Gynradd Pontrhdyfendigaid. Ceisiwn ddarparu cwricwlwm cyfoethog, cytbwys ac ymarferol sy\u2019n hybu chwilfrydedd naturiol pob plentyn beth bynnag eu lliw, cenedl, diwylliant neu dras.<\/p>\n

Ein gweledigaeth yn Ysgol Pontrhydfendigaid yw darparu amgylchedd hapus, positif, diogel a chyfeillgar, er mwyn sicrhau addysg o\u2019r radd flaenaf, sy\u2019n cynnig profiadau heriol, diddorol ac eang a fydd yn arwain unigolion i gyrraedd eu llawn botensial.<\/p>\n

Rydym yn anelu at ddathlu ein llwyddiannau gyda\u2019n gilydd fel cymuned ysgol gyda phob unigolyn yn werthfawr ac yn cael ei barchu. Yn ein cymuned ysgol ceisiwn annog parch tuag at ein hiaith a\u2019n treftadaeth ein hunain yn ogystal ag ieithoedd a diwylliannau eraill.<\/p>\n

Mae gofynion yr unfed ganrif ar hugain yn rhoi pwyslais mawr ar y cenhedloedd newydd o blant. Ceisiwn annog y plant i barchu ac i ofalu am y byd o\u2019u cwmpas ac i ddatblygu fel dinasyddion sydd yn gwybod y gwahaniaeth rhwng da a drwg. Gyda phwyslais mawr ar les a ffitrwydd cenhedloedd y dyfodol teimlwn ei bod hi’n bwysig sicrhau bod ein plant yn ymwybodol o fwyta\u2019n iach ac yn gywir a sut i edrych ar \u00f4l eu hiechyd a\u2019u glendid personol. Anogwn ein plant i gystadlu yn frwd ac yn deg gan barchu a chydnabod cyfraniadau pawb. Ein nod yw sicrhau y bydd y disgyblion sy\u2019n gadael Ysgol Pontrhydfendigaid yn barod ar gyfer y byd cyfnewidiol sydd ohoni.<\/p>\n

Children’s welfare, happiness and education are central to every decision made at Pontrhydfendigaid Primary School. We aim to provide a rich, balanced and practical curriculum that promotes the natural curiosity of every child whatever their colour, nationality, culture or descent.<\/p>\n

Our vision at Ysgol Pontrhydfendigaid is to provide a happy, positive, safe and friendly environment in order to ensure a first class education, which offers challenging, interesting and broad experiences that will lead individuals to reach their full potential.<\/p>\n

We aim to celebrate our successes together as a school community with each individual valued and respected. In our school community we aim to encourage respect for our own language and heritage as well as other languages and cultures.<\/p>\n

The demands of the twenty-first century place great emphasis on the new nations of children. We try to encourage the children to respect and care for the world around them and to develop as citizens who know the difference between right and wrong. New technologies will play an important part in their lives and we as a school must recognize and encourage this by investing wisely in Information Technology.<\/p>\n

With a great emphasis on the well-being and fitness of future generations we feel it is important to ensure that our children are aware of healthy and correct eating and how to look after their health and personal hygiene. We encourage our children to compete enthusiastically and fairly, respecting and recognizing everyone’s contributions. Our aim is to ensure that the pupils who leave Ysgol Mynach in year six are ready for the ever changing world. enhanced and extended as a result of the experiences they have had with us.<\/p>\n
