Cyngor Sir Ceredigion sy\u2019n rheoli derbyn disgyblion i\u2019r ysgolion.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Penderfynir uchafswm y disgyblion sydd i\u2019w derbyn, gan y rhif mynedid a bennir yn flynyddol mewn ymgyghoriad \u00e2\u2019r Bwrdd Llywodraethol. Os digwydd bod mwy wedi dewis anfon eu plant i\u2019r ysgol nag sydd o le ar eu cyfer ystyrir ceisiadau yn unol \u00e2\u2019r meini prawf canlynol:<\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: center;\">\n<li>y ffafriaeth ysgrifenedig a fynegwyd gan y rhieni<\/li>\n<li>nifer y disgyblion a all gael eu derbyn i\u2019r ysgol<\/li>\n<li>yr ardal ddaearyddol a wasanaethir fel rheol gan yr ysgolion<\/li>\n<li>cysylltiadau brodyr a chwiorydd<\/li>\n<li>rhesymau meddygol a chymdeithasol penodol sy\u2019n berthnasol i ddarpar ddisgybl.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Er mwyn gwneud cais am le yn yr ysgol rhaid felly cyflwyno ceisiadau i Gyngor Sir Ceredigion cyn 30ain o Ebrill bob blwyddyn. Ni chaniateir trefnu rhestr aros. Mae\u2019r ffurflen ar-lein bwrpasol bellach ar wefan Cyngor Sir Ceredigion yma:<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.ceredigion.gov.uk\/preswyliwr\/ysgolion-ac-addysg\/derbyn-i-ysgol\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">http:\/\/www.ceredigion.gov.uk\/preswyliwr\/ysgolion-ac-addysg\/derbyn-i-ysgol\/<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Bydd Ceredigion ond yn darparu cludiant yn rhad ac am ddim i blant 5 oed sy\u2019n byw 2 filltir neu fwy o\u2019r ysgol fwyaf addas agosaf.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>Trefniadau i gwrdd \u00e2\u2019r rhieni a\u2019r darpar ddisgyblion<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Gwahoddir y rhieni a\u2019u plant i ymweld a\u2019r ysgol cyn iddynt gychwyn. Yn ystod y sesiwn bydd y pennaeth\/ pennaeth cynorthwyol yn tywys y rhieni o gwmpas yr ysgol ac yn rhoi cyfle iddynt ofyn cwesitynau. Bydd y plant hefyd yn cael cyfle i gyfarwyddo gyda\u2019r ysgol cyn dechrau. Gwahoddir darpar ddisgyblion i ymuno \u00e2\u2019r dosbarth yn ystod sesiynau cyfarwyddo.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div id=\"englishBelow\" class=\"twocol twocolright\">\n<h4 style=\"text-align: center;\">Admission of Children<\/h4>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">The school admits pupils on a full-time basis to the reception class in the term following their fourth birthday. Ceredigion County Council manages admissions to the schools.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">The maximum number of pupils to be admitted is determined by the admission number set annually in consultation with the Governing Body. If more people choose to send their children to the school than there is places for them, the following<br \/>\ncriteria shall be considered:<\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: center;\">\n<li>written expressed preference by parents<\/li>\n<li>the number of pupils that can be admitted by the school<\/li>\n<li>the geographical area which the school normally serves<\/li>\n<li>sibling links<\/li>\n<li>specific medical and social reasons appertaining to the prospective pupil.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Therefore to apply for a place at the school, applications must be submitted to Ceredigion County Council, through the school, before 30th April each year. A waiting list cannot be compiled. The appropriate on-line form is available on Ceredigion County Council\u2019s website here:<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.ceredigion.gov.uk\/resident\/schools-education\/school-admissions\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">http:\/\/www.ceredigion.gov.uk\/resident\/schools-education\/school-admissions\/<\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Ceredigion will only provide free school transport for children from 5 years of age who live 2 miles or more from their nearest suitable school.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>Arrangements to meet prospective parents and pupils<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Prospective pupils and their parents are invited to visit the school. During the session, the headteacher\/ assistant head will give the parents a guided tour around the school and give opportunities to ask questions. The children will also have the opportunity to familiarise themselves with the school before staring.
